	This cap has a material called polyurethane (also known as thin skin) around the perimeter. (This cap also has Silk Injection in the crown.) Thin Skin, otherwise known as polyurethane (PU), is a material in which hairs are individually implanted through the fine poly skin base one at a time. Many like this cap material for its undetectability; however, you should be aware that it can get quite hot underneath the cap, as thin skin does not allow your scalp to breathe as lace does. Thin skin can be ordered in the colors light brown, medium brown and dark brown. Some women have reported that thin skin seems to adhere to their skin better. Because hair is not knotted but injected into the thin skin material, there are no knots in that area. Some women have also reported that they get hot under thin skin, because it does not allow the scalp to breathe as lace does. Thin skin is a great option for durability and ease of application. Additionally, caps can be created with Thin Skin on the full perimeter, on the back perimeter only, on the front perimeter only, or on the entire cap. In your order please be sure to specify exactly how you would like your Thin Skin cap to be created. Thin skin perimeter also help to protect the lace perimeter of the full lace wig or lace frontal as well as help the adhesives hold better. Adding thin skin to your wig will prolong its life. 	This cap is similar to our full lace cap, except it has a stretch panel from ear to ear. The stretch panel allows for half an inch of leeway. It will fit head sizes that are up to half an inch larger than the given circumference. It's great for beginners who are unsure of their measurements.

	Hidden Knots or Silk Top is a piece of 5 X 7 silk located in the front center of the cap through which individual hairs are injected. A silk base can be ordered in the colors transparent, light brown, medium brown and dark brown. The hair in the area of the silk base have invisible knots. The knots are hidden under the silk base, which gives a more realistic illusion that the hair is growing directly from your scalp.

			Full Thin Skin or Vacuum Base Cranial Prosthesis are custom designed to fit to your head. A plastic mold of your head is required to ensure a proper fit that will produce suction on your head. Thin skin is undetectable and hair strands are individually injected through the fine thin skin base. Thin skin is unbreathable, so full thin skin unit is not suitable for hot climates.
