- Highlights: Highlights will just add subtle bursts of color throughout the unit. Adding highlights will
not alter the overall color of the hair. The percent of color that you select will determine the
percentage of highlight color(s) added to the base color.
- Streaks: Are similar to highlights, but with a small variation. Streaks have pronounced strips or
bands of colors as compared to highlights, which are subtler. Highlighting is done on fewer strands
of hair, whereas with streaking, you can go in for a full head or half head-streaking job.
- Blend: Two or more shades of color combined together. Blending two or more colors together will
give you a different color completely, whereas with streaks or highlights, they will add bold spots of
color throughout the hair. The mix color density that you select will determine the percentage of mix
color(s) added to the base color.

Divas Lace Wigs sells four different 100% or Virgin Remy human hair types.
- Brazilian Remy: Very soft and smooth, and thicker than Indian hair, but not as thick as Malaysian or Chinese hair.
This hair has lots of body and is great for all textures. Provides long lasting natural curls or waves.
- Chinese Remy: Very thick and has a slight coarse texture. It is great for women who love thick straight hair. It is
heavier, thicker and slightly more dense then Indian Remy. It is not as shiny as the Indian Remy. Texture feels nice and
smooth. Great for all hair textures because it has a lot of body.
- Indian Remy: Very strong, durable, and most important, easy to mange. Great for any hairstyle.
- Malaysian Remy: Hair is heavier, thicker and more dense then the Chinese and Indian Remy. It is not as shiny as the
Indian Remy. Texture feels very soft and smooth. It has a lot of body. Hair can be easily curled or straightened with
proper styling. Great for all textures. It is excellent for Black women as it looks very natural, yet manageable. Much
more expensive to acquire this type of hair.
- Mongolian Remy: Hair is similar to Caucasian Hair. It is lighter and thinner than Indian Remy. It is a very soft and silky
type of hair. It has a lot of movement and lays down great for straight styles. Much more expensive to acquire this type
of hair. Great for any texture.
Please make sure that you measure your head exactly as shown on our Measurements page. If your measurements are not correct, the lace
wig may not fit as well as you would like. We suggest you take your measurements at least 2 to 3 times to be sure. Use a soft measure tape,
typically used for clothing to measure your head.

- Full Lace Wigs/Frontals/Closures:
- Super Fine Swiss Lace: Is the newest and thinnest lace available. Super Fine Swiss Lace gives you the most invisible hairline
possible. It is much thinner than Swiss Lace. It is the perfect lace since it is invisible and does not show. Must be attached with
adhesives, sewn or clips can be added. This lace costs an additional $25.00.
- Swiss Lace: Is slightly thicker as compared to the Super Fine Swiss Lace, but thinner than French Lace. This does not mean that
it is visible. In fact, this lace is also a good lace for the front, as you cannot see it. It is also more durable in strength. Must be
attached with adhesives, sewn or clips can be added.
- French Lace: is much thicker than the Swiss Lace or Super Fine Swiss Lace, but is extremely durable. French Lace still offers the
invisible hairline, but is more durable and it is not detectable from the front. Most people prefer this lace because it is more
durable. Must be attached with adhesives, sewn or clips can be added.

undetectable, resulting in a lace wig that looks natural and unbelievably real. Thin skin is a
blend of polyurethane materials that is used in lace wigs and lace frontals to produce a
scalp like appearance of skin.

around the perimeter to thin. Sometimes the glue sticks to the hair and lace making it difficult to remove and it cause those areas to thin or
bald.
Our standard size for a silk injection top measures 5X7 inches, which will give you a good range of coverage for a more natural looking side or
middle part. Silk Injection is available in several colors to match your lace color: Transparent, Light Brown, Medium Brown, and Dark Brown.
Baby hair is the fine hair that grows naturally along the hairline. You can choose to add baby hair to the front or the entire perimeter. Baby hair is
included in your lace wig purchase. Baby hair is available in either a straight hair, wavy, or curly hair textures. Baby hair makes the wig look more

Hair density refers to how many hairs are added to your hair system base. The higher the density the thicker the hair will be and less scalp will
show. If you want to keep a natural appearance we do not recommend densities beyond 130%, however it is up to you to choose your density.

which eliminates tangling and matting. The hair is cut on the top, not on the bottom and left in its natural state. Comes
in natural colors only and can be dyed to achieve any specific color or texturized (Body Wave, Curly, Yaki, etc.)

What Are Knots? Strands of hair hand-tied to the lace base using a knot. All Divas Lace Wigs units are made with single knots at the hairline
and double knots throughout unless you specify otherwise. The hairs are hand-tied in individual sections to mimic natural hair growth. This is
another reason our lace wigs look so natural and moves like hair growing naturally from the scalp.

Single Knots
Single knots mean that individual hairs are hand-tied and knotted into the lace. Single knots are less noticeable than
double knots. Single knots makes for effortless camouflage for your installation. Single knots on the entire cap are
useful for those who have complete hair loss and want to make sure that they can part anywhere and have
camouflaged knots. It's hard to detect, but easy to shed.
Double Knotts
- Double Knots involve knotting the lace wig hair twice to produce a double knot which provides a stronger, more robust
knot. Double knots are slightly more visible under close inspection. Double knots are more visible upon closer
inspection which is not ideal when trying to create a more realistic hairline, parting or crown section to the full lace wig.
On the up side, double knots are more secure than single knots, so shedding is less of an issue with the double knot.
It's easy to detect, but not easy to shed.
Bleached Knots
- Bleached Knots can be single or double knots. Bleached knots make the knots less detectable at the root. The knots
are not clear or totally invisible. The bleached knots help to hide the knots in the front. If the original hair color is Black
or shade of Dark Brown, Medium Brown or Brown, then knots will be slightly lighter and will be much less visible.
Bleached knots, are only done at the front.
- Divas Lace Wigs only bleaches the hairline and not throughout the unit because bleaching weakens the hair and will
cause the hair to shed, mat or tangle easily.
- Bleached knots are not necessary for hair of lighter colors because the knots are hard to see without the bleaching.
We do not recommend bleaching the knots in the entire lace wig hair in order to preserve the integrity of the hair and lace. Bleached
knots in the entire unit leads to premature, and sometimes excessive, shedding because the bleached knots are weakened by the
bleaching process.
Choosing bleached knots for the entire unit renders the 30 Day Guarantee null and void. Repairs will only be made at the
customer's expense.
- A Hidden knot is a unique process where individual hairs are pulled through the silk material and hand-tied from
underneath the wig cap. The result is the appearance of scalp with hair growing out of it. It adds a more natural look to the
wig, especially when parting the hair. The knots are hidden under the silk base and are not visible, giving the illusion of
hair growing directly from your scalp and unbelievably real. The silk base can be ordered in the colors transparent, light
brown, medium brown and dark brown.
Hidden knots are a wonderful feature that enhances the natural and realistic look you are trying to achieve.

When choosing between Straight, Wavy or Curly texture, Straight hair, Wavy hair is
usually 1 - 1 1/2 inches shorter than straight hair and Curly hair is usually 1 - 1 1/2
inches shorter than wavy hair.

Customers should purchase hair 2″ longer if they desire a Wavy to Curly hair to keep the desired length.
Also, please keep in mind that our hair is left completely natural at the ends, It may be a good idea to select a slightly

| Layered Hair |
All lace wig hair is hand-tied to a lace base. Divas Lace Wigs offers three different
hair length types.

Hair Lengths Available: 4" inches to 34" inches,
hair length types.
- Crown to End with Layers: Hair length is measured from the crown of the
head to the end of the hair . Crown to end is the total hair length.
- All One Length with Layers: Each layer: Front, Middle and Back, equal
the same length, which adds an additional 4 inches to the hair length
selected. (Example: If you choose 12" all one length with layers, the total
hair length from crown to end equals 18 inches.)
- Even Tips - No Layers: The hair length is even at the tip. No layers.

- Root Hair/Two-Tone Strand: Two shades are combined on one hair strand. The roots of the hair are one color and the hair shaft is a different
color. Or the top of the hair is one color and the back a different color. Two-Tone can also be hair color on the top, middle, and back can be a
different color.
