NEVER use water on your hair when it’s really dry hair. If your hair feels really dry, don't spray it with plain water. Water causes the hair to swell and tangle. Spray your hair using your favorite moisturizer or leave-in detangling conditioner. Give the hair time to absorb it. Lightly spray again if needed, but not too much.
NEVER towel dry the hair in a rough manner. Hair is at its weakest when wet. If you are rough with the hair it can cause the cuticles to open up and tangle. It’s best to dab or squeeze the hair gently with a towel. Let it air dry. If you are in a hurry use the medium heat setting and a hair protectant on your hair dryer to blow it dry.
NEVER put a lot of styling products on your hair, especially those containing alcohol. If you put too much of a styling product on the hair, it will weigh it down and you will lose the whispery naturalness of the hair. The "Blow in the wind fabulous hair!" It will also make it look greasy and hard to manage and maintain. If you used too much product, just wash and condition it using a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
